FWP Building 2 Headquarters

The Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) Building 2 Headquarters project included remodeling the customer lobby and constructing a new building used as the FWP training and conference center. The lobby remodel was built in three phases allowing FWP to maintain its business operations and serve its customers during construction. The new lobby provides FWP with a more functional and open entrance with transaction windows to allow staff to service the public and maintain a significantly higher level of security. The new conference center is a very modern and unique structure built with cross-laminated timber framing for the walls and the roof.

The 5,000-sf facility features a bright lobby with floor-to-ceiling glass and polished concrete floors. The lobby provides access to the conference room with high ceilings and the cross-laminated timber exposed on the walls and ceiling. The conference center also has an attached kitchenette that allows for catered events. The exterior of the conference center building is clad in metal siding and tied to the existing building with a steel canopy, creating a breezeway between the two structures.
